Drawing on his ingenuity and experience as a tomato farmer at the age of 17, Scott implemented innovative irrigation and fertilization techniques that set new standards for farming practices in the U.S. and globally. Further, inspired by an unlikely source—his father's background in the cosmetic industry—Scott embarked on a quest to investigate organic alternatives to petroleum-based products. Noticing the moisture barrier properties of lipstick, he theorized that similar organic ingredients might unlock sustainable packaging solutions.
